This is the greatest sea shanties CD that I've found. I've had it for a few years now and still love it!! Ewan MacColl and A.L. Lloyd are long gone but they have preserved forever a lost art!

Stan Rogers

I got this album in 1980 and love it to this day! Stan Rogers has one of the best male voices I've ever heard. This is a live CD and very well recorded.

Talip Ozkan is the best at soulful Turkish music. I've always enjoyed Turkish sounds and when I found Talip, he made my day. Real magic music.

Gipsy Music of Macedonia & Neighbouring Countries

This is for all of you with a more open ear! It's hard to find any of this stuff on CD and this IS the real stuff. It's music I played in the '70s. I love it, but it is a bit different. You can hear what a tapan sounds like in its native arrangement with zournas. Tracks 1 and 2 are closest to the type of music I played.
